The Modern Billing System is an automated client billing and accounts receivable system. The use of transaction codes, which you customize for your company, allow you to type the three-digit transaction code and automatically create a description of up to four lines to explain a transaction which will then appear on the client's statement or invoice.
A transaction code can be assigned to a client and the computer can automatically do the billing of that client for you. This feature can extremely useful for those clients who are repetitively billed each transaction period. You can assign billing cycles to the automatically billed clients. This will allow selected clients to be billed more often than others. Complete information is at hand for any or all of your clients with regard to amount billed for the year and amount outstanding at any time.
Note: Many entries in this billing program require uppercase responses only. So, depress the caps lock key so all characters are uppercase. When the program starts, it asks for a date. Enter the date in the form MMDDYY as in 012391 with no slash or dash or you will not be able to get into the program.
To run, enter: BILLING (if the program is installed in a directory called \BILLING) otherwise use MENU
